About.
I am an Australian student with a deep passion for art, history, film and music. I started making short films when I received my first iPad at nine. Since then, I have taught myself to edit using Premiere Pro, iMovie, and LumaTouch, creating several award-winning short films.
YAA.
In 2023, I was invited to join the Young Actor’s Assembly, Sydney’s premier acting and leadership program focused on screen acting and filmmaking. Each year, we analyse scripts, explore the latest acting techniques, and develop audition strategies while shooting showreel scenes at iconic Sydney locations.
We collaborate with industry experts to create 4-5 short film concepts and scripts, which we audition for. We each take on key roles in preproduction to solidify all the details fo the film before producing content. With a professional film crew, we shoot on location over three long days, culminating in a red carpet gala event at the Chauvel Cinema in Paddington, where our films are showcased.
While I love acting, I find my true inspiration behind the scenes, watching a story unfold, and helping bring a director’s vision to life.
Experience.
In 2024, I co-wrote the script for The Culling, a short film about a group of farm kids facing a difficult choice. I also played the lead role of Bec, a neighbour who challenges their decision. In addition, I worked as a Production Assistant, and my contribution was so valued that I was invited to work in the same role on Posted, another YAA short.
Thanks to my work with Daniel Watson and Dario Salomone on The Culling, and Ronnie S. Riskalla on Posted, I was later invited to assist on The Intervention, a short film by Daniel Watson, and worked as an Art Assistant on Backfoot, directed by Damien Hempstead.
I’ve also completed several work experience placements with Maselli Films, Broken Yellow, and the ABC. These opportunities have led to further production work. I thrive in creative environments and love the challenge of bringing together all the different elements needed to make a story come alive.
Language.
I am currently studying the International Baccalaureate (IB), developing a global perspective through a rigorous curriculum that includes both French and English. This bilingual education not only strengthens my proficiency in both languages, but also enriches my understanding of diverse cultures – an essential asset for a career in film production, where storytelling transcends language and cultural barriers.
